Launched in 1996, the DeltaV system has been installed across the world from IOs ranging from10 to 30000 and more. The range of industries covered ranges from Life sciences to Metals, Mining to Oil and Gas, Chemicals to Food and Beverage and Paper to Refineries. The DeltaV has been able to reduce operating and maintenance cost using open and interoperable systems and technologies like Foundation Fieldbus and Profibus. The Delta V system provides embedded control application, advanced diagnostics for HART and FF devices, integration with devices like wireless phones and pagers to ERP systems using ODBC, OLE and XML.
