DeltaV SIS is Emerson's SIS solution which is a extension of the Plantweb digital architecture. The TUV certified SIL3 system integrates seamlessly with the DeltaV DCS providing single window operator and engineering functionalities, including time synchronization & integrated alarm and even management. In addition, it allows for Asset management of Safety related IO providing predictive functionality as well as automated partial valve stroke testing functionality.

The heart of the system is the SLS Logic Solver. A full set of smart function blocks are available for voting, cause and effect charts and sequencers. All software has built in change management to comply to IEC61511.

The HIMA product line also includes the very compact SIL3 Himatrix system with fast response and cycle times which is ideal for machine automation and safety related building automation in addition to process applications.

Other products from the HIMA family include the H41 for small and midsize IO and the H51 for several thousand IO. Both systems are scalable and proven with a large installed based and come with a wide variety of IO cards for centralized and distributed applications using safe Ethernet and integrate to any DCS. A new entrant into the HIMA family is the HIMAX which feature the XMR architecture providing unprecedented levels of redundancy and fault tolerance.
